1-08) Defenceman Bryan Lewis notched a natural hatrick to lead the Tofield
Satellites to a 6-3 win over the Provost Blades in the Battle River Hockey League
Playoffs Saturday night in Provost. The teams were tied 3-3 heading into the third
period before Lewis scored the game winner on the power play with 7:40
to go. Tyson Schielke, Chad Anderson and Ryan Stauffer also tallied for
the Satellites who now trail 3-2 in the best of seven series. Jeremy Thom
was solid in the Tofield goal as the Blades came out firing in the early going. Darcy Varty, Shaun Rose and Chad Smith scored for the Blades. Game six of the series goes Sunday night at 6:30 at the Tofield Arena. |
