(Feb 29-08) The Tofield Satellites scored five power play goals on their way to a 7-1 win over the Provost Blades in the Battle River Hockey League playoffs Friday night in Tofield.

Up 3-1 heading into the third, Tofield captain Jeff Van Engelen notched a natural hatrick - all on the power play - to give the Satellites some breathing room. Bryan Lewis scored twice while Ryan Olson and Pete Neufeld added singles for the Satellites who now trail 3-1 in the best of seven series. Trevor Chopek scored for the Blades.

Jeremy Thom stopped 23 shots for Tofield, while Tyler Larson turned aside 24 shots for the Blades.

Game five goes Saturday night in Provost.

The Daysland Northstars advanced to the league final with a 9-4 victory in Sedgewick. The Northstars won the series 4-0.
