Satellites win 7-3 in Consort

The Tofield Satellites scored three shorthanded goals on their way to a 7-3 win over the Consort Comets Sunday night.

Pete Neufeld got things rolling scoring just 1:38 into the first period to spark the offence. Tyson Schielke, Mark Horricks and Chad Anderson scored to make it 4-0 just six minutes into the game.

Bryan Lewis, Craig Neufeld and Mike Granberg also scored for the Satellites who outshot the Comets 39-29. The goals by Lewis, Craig Neufeld and Granberg were shorthanded. Granberg's goal was scored into an empty net with 47 seconds to play. Tofield led 5-1 after the first and second periods, and improved their record to 5 wins, 4 losses and overtime loss.
