The
Tofield Satellites scored even strength, on the power play and shorthanded on
their way to a 3-1 victory over the Sedgewick Sabres Saturday night.
Mike
Granberg capitalized five minutes into the game, after the Satellites forced
a turnover with some aggressive forechecking. Jeff Van Engelen made it
2-0 Tofield scoring a power play goal with five minutes left in the first.
Sedgewick's
Andy Clark wripped a hard wrist shot past Satellites goalie Jeremy Thom
with 4:30 to go in the third, but Tyson Schielke responded with an insurance
goal, shorthanded, with 3:25 left to secure the win for Tofield who improve to
6-4-1 at the midpoint of the season. |
