The Daysland Northstars special teams were the difference as they beat the Satellites 8-1 in Tofield Saturday night. Riley Riddell scored two shorthanded goals 38 seconds apart in the first period to spark the Northstars offense. Riddell also had two assists on the night. Daysland's other six goals came on the power play. Mike Granberg scored the lone goal for the Satellites who are now 9-7-1 on the season.
