Tofield teams headed to Provincials |

25-06) For the first time in recent memory, a pair of Tofield teams will be heading
to Provincials in the same year. Sunday afternoon at the Tofield Arena, the Tofield Atom Mercurys skated to a 6-2 victory over Holden to clinch their two game total goal series by a score of 13-6. The Mercurys won Saturday in Holden 7-4. They advance to the Provincials in Manville March 9, 10 and 11th. Then, Sunday night, the Tofield Bantams defeated Daysland-Forestburg 9-4 to take their two game series 18-7. They had earlier won 9-3. So the Bantams are headed for La Crete March 9, 10, and 11th. |
